Naomi Lucille (Alfred) Zaleski, Age 90 of Bear Lake was called home by the Lord October 23rd from the Maples in Frankfort.

Born October 15, 1927 in Wellston, MI to Don & Clara (Snyder) Alfred, her father died of an accident when she was 3 years old. Her mother with her three children later married Adolph Swanson and together they had six more children. Naomi married Mitchell Zaleski on November 27, 1948.

She was a member of the Bear Lake United Methodist Church. Naomi loved to quilt and was a member of the Victorian Quilters.

Naomi is survived by her husband of 67 years Mike, son: Mitchell (Waunetta) Zaleski, daughter-in-law; Marybeth along with one granddaughter; Leane, one grandson; Curtis, and two great grandchildren; Lily and Lucas. Also surviving are her brothers; Raymond ( Dorothy) Swanson of Bear Lake, Tom (Pat) Swanson of Copemish, & Floyd Swanson of Bear Lake, sisters; Nora (George) Hunt of Manistee, and Joyce (Ed) Thompson of Bear Lake, sister-in-law; Bev Peralta of Manistee, many wonderful nieces and nephews, and a dear friend; Pat Schoedel. Also by a very special family, her nephew and niece; Mark & Kathy Thompson & sons that lived next door.

She also was preceded in death by her son; Don from a car accident in December 2006, two brothers; Edd Alfred & Ernie Swanson, sister; Marie (Alfred) Konicki, sister-in-law; Pam Swanson, and brother-in-law; Phil Peralta.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Bear Lake United Methodist Church with Reverend Jane Logston officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasanton Township Cemetery.
