Ron attended Edison High School and graduated from Hale High School. He went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Ron enjoyed a successful career as an Investment Counselor working for MetLife for 20 years.
Ron met his amazing life partner Sharon, and they shared 31 blissful years together. Ron was an amazing companion, father, grandfather, son and brother. He adored his family and loved spending time with them, especially his grandchildren.
A long time Tulsa musician, Ron was a talented lead guitarist, bass guitarist and song writer. He recorded many great songs that his friends and family cherish. Ron loved being outdoors, whether it was doing yard work or taking care of his animals, including, cats, dogs, goats, and ducks.
Ron is survived by wife, four children and spouses, fifteen
grandchildren, two great grandsons, father, sister, and brother.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother Faye Cooley, son James Polk, step brother Robert Lance.
Services honoring the life of Ronald “Ron” Abrams will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Hayhurst Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Park Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with family there to receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
