BEEVILLE — Francis Elvira Harris, 95, of Beeville died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1993.
She was born Aug. 25, 1898, in Valley Springs to the late James Obediah and Nancy P. Vest Hendrick. The homemaker was a member of Tynan Home Demonstration Club and Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors: son, James Durwood Harris of George West; sisters, Jimmie White of Houston and Euphemia Barnes of George West; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, James A. Harris on July 31, 1966; and son, Harold Gene Harris.
Graveside services: 10 a.m. today, Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville, the Rev. Jack Harris officiating.
