Barbara A.”Barbie” Duprey, age 59, of Two Rivers passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at her residence.

Barbie was born March 28, 1958 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Henfer) Duprey. She was a graduate of Mishicot High School with the Class of 1976. Barbie along with her fiancé Tim “Tippy” Tomchek owned and operated Tippy’s Bar and Grill for the last 28 years. She had worked full time at Maritime Ford, Manitowoc. Barbie also worked parttime at Shady Lane Nursing Home, Homecare and Hamilton Memorial Home.

Barbie was a member of Manitowoc County Tavern League and Rogers Street Fishing Museum. She helped found the Two Rivers bean bag league, played English Mark Darts, enjoyed minature bowling, enjoyed her time spent with Tippy at Cedar Valley Campground and was an avid Packer fan. Barbie mostly enjoyed the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her fiancé: Tim “Tippy” Tomchek, Two Rivers; two children: Robert & Emily Ahlswede, Sturgeon Bay; Tanya & D.J. Londo, Sturgeon Bay; four grandchildren: Hayden & Garrett Ahlswede; Corbin & Cambria Londo; brothers: Jim & Ginny Duprey, Two Rivers; Eugene & Joe Duprey, Milwaukee; Jon Duprey, Wisconsin Dells; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Jack & Sally Tomchek, Two Rivers; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Torey & Marty Corcoran, Madison; Todd & Rhonda Tomchek, Marinette; best friend: Leo Cuturia, Two Rivers; one niece: Sarah (Mike) Nennig, Green Bay; one nephew: Andy Duprey (fiancee Trudy Strauss); one great niece: Hannah Nennig; her faithful companion “Nikki”; as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Paul Gleichner with burial to take place immediately following services at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.
