Edward Brinley and his wife Sarah Tyler had the following children: Sarah, William, Edward, Thomas, Deborah, Francis and George.

Edward was the son of Colonel Francis Brinley and Deborah Lyde of Roxbury.

From Temple's History of Framingham:
3. Edward, son of Francis 1, settled Weston. In 1777 or 78, he leased and took possession of the Buckminster Farm in Framingham, then belonging to the heirs of Sir Peter Warren. Probably he occupied the farm but one year.
