Albert Carl Callaham, 79, of Nyssa, Idaho, died in a nursing home in Caldwell, Idaho recently (early April, late March, 1971). Mr. Callaham was born November 29, 1892 in Arnold, Nebraska, and he was reared in the Maxwell, Nebraska area.

He married Julia Triggs on July 25, 1916, and they farmed in the community until 1936. They moved to Idaho in 1936 and farmed and worked in the Parma and Wilder, Idaho communities until he retired in 1958. They bought a house at Owyhee Junction, Oregon where they lived until May, 1969.

Surviving in addition to Mrs. Callaham are five sons: Jonas of McArthur, California, Earl of Jordan Valley, Ervin of La Grande, Oregon, Richard of Boise, Idaho and Raymond Callaham of Las Vegas, Nevada; and also by four daughters: Mrs. Lila Solomon of Grants Pass, Oregon, Mrs. Clara Lovitt of Parma, Mrs. Betty Blinken of Bayview, Idaho, and Mrs. Sallie Schultz of Parma; 32 grand and 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Arthur Callaham of Gothenburg, Nebraska, and three sisters, Mrs. Emilie Nall of Salinas, California, Mrs. Eva Johnson of Maxwell, Nebraska, and Mrs. Minnie Anderson of Culbertson, Nebraska.
