Mrs. Mary Nell Kress, an adjuster for the Bituminous Insurance Co., died Thursday at her home, 5094 Latern Hill Drive, Whitehall. Mrs. Kress, 45, was a member of the Pittsburgh Claims Association, the Pittsburgh Association of Adjusters, Insurance Women of America and St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church in Whitehall.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene S. Kress; her mother, Mrs. Magdeline Brennan Farabaugh; two sons, Thomas E. and Jeffrey M.; a daughter, Mrs. Deborah Ann Barron; six sisters, Mrs. Thora Schmitt, Mrs. Norma Farhner, Mrs. Jane Donley, Mrs. Janet Hyrb, Miss Carolyn Farabaugh and Miss Susan Farabaugh; and three brothers, Jack, Thomas and Timothy, all of the Pittsburgh area.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Howard A. Farnsworth Funeral Home Inc., 425 Brownsville Road, Mount Oliver, where funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, followed by a liturgy at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Whitehall. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Carrick.
