He was born December 12, 1973 in Hamilton, a son of John S. and Barbara Jones Bartlett. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School where he was on the football team and was a three-time all-star. David was self-employed. He enjoyed water sports of all kinds, especially boating and water skiing.
Surviving are his parents John and Barbara of Hamilton; a sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Robert Dye of Hamilton; an aunt, Ann Beattie of Hamilton; three nephews, Cameron, Nolan and Ryan Dye; two cousins, Stephen Beattie and Susan Holowchak. He was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Bartlett.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
David’s family will receive friends at the Colgate Inn on Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 1 to 4 PM.
