Harry Milton Haley Jr., Age 91 of Stockton, CA died on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital, Stockton, CA.

A native of Pontotoc, Mississippi, while in the Navy, Milton was Stationed at Norfolk, Virginia & Jacksonville, Florida. After retiring from the US Navy at the age of 41 years Milton lived in Stockton, CA for 50 years.

Mr. Haley started with the US Navy at the age of 18 years, from January 1945 to September 1967 as Engineer Chief “A” Division Yellowstone (Auxiliary). He later was employed by the University of Pacific, Stockton, CA in the Physical Plant until he retired in 1984. He was a member of Berea Baptist Church of Morada in Stockton, CA.

Milton was an avid reader of military history for WW2 & the Civil War. He loved his cars and music.

Milton was preceded in death by parents Harry M. Haley Sr. & Nancy Ivy, his loving wife of 39 years, Geneva Ruth Haley, sisters Francis Rausch and Grace Leafty and brother, Max Haley.

Survived by brothers Marvin Haley Sr. & Kenneth Haley, Daughters, Virginia Farmer, Brenda (Mark) Miller & Sandra (Jeff) Jardine. 5 Grandchildren- Shannon (Daniel) Ahumada, Lloyd Farmer, Meghan (Steven) Anderson, Amanda (Ryan) Singleton and Erin Jardine. Also 5 Great Grand Children- Joseph Ahumada, Jayson Ahumada, Haley Ahumada, Adalyn Ahumada and William Singleton.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 4th at Berea Baptist Church at 4957 Quashnick Road, Stockton, CA 12:00. Burial will be at Cherokee Memorial Park at 1:30pm with Military Honors, afterwards we ask all friends & family for Milton’s Life celebration at Berea Baptist Church in the fellowship hall.
