He was the son of Obediah and Anetta (Nickerson) Luddington.

LESTER B. LUDDINGTON, New Harbour.

Mr. Lester Byron Luddington passed away at St. Martha's Hospital

in his seventy seventh year.

Mr. Luddington, a fisherman until his retirement

was a son of the late Obediah and Anetta (Nickerson) Luddington.

Mr. Luddington was active and about at his work

until he entered hospital on January 4 and passed away January 17.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lima Henderson

and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Marshall and Roy,

and one sister Lillian.

An A.F. & A.M funeral ....... on Friday evening.

A short service was held at the home on Saturday afternoon

then to the United Church at 2 p.m.

The service was conducted by his pastor Rev. Edward Bentley

and assisted by Rev. Robert Taylor (of the Baptist).

Hymns sung were "My Faith Looks up to Thee" and "Jesus Saviour Pilot Me".

Pallbearers were brothers in Masonry, Milford Gillie, Dean Sangster,

Sherman Sangster, Angus Luddington, Grant Barss and Harvey Luddington.

Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in New Harbour.
