Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday for David M. Mayer, 80, who died Tuesday at a South Lake Tahoe hospital after a short illness.
A native of New York City, he moved to Sonoma County in 1928 and worked as a salesman for the National Biscuit Co.
He was a member of Santa Rosa Masonic Lodge No. 57 as well as Scottish Rite Bodies and Hillah Shrine Temple, both in Ashland Ore.
He is survived by his wife, May E. Mayer, Santa Rosa; daughters, Alice Stewart, Santa Rosa, and Alta Bettis, Oregon, and 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services at Eggen and Lance Mortuary will be followed by private entombment at Santa Rosa Memorial Park.
Memorial donations to the Heart Association, P.O. Box 844, Santa Rosa, 95402, are preferred by the family.
