SHE WAS A daughter of the late George F. Lawrence and Sara Catherine Ayers Lawrence of Comisky, lnd., and was educated there.
In 1918. she was married to late John F. Draughon of Nashville, founder of Draughon's Business College. He died in 1921.
Mrs. Draughon was a member of the Cumberland Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, was the first state recording secretary and one of the oldest members of the Winchester Chapter of the Daughters of 1812 and was a member of the Daughters of the American Colonists.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Draughon is survived by a brother, Joseph A. Lawrence, Nashville; a sister, Mrs. Katherine Penn, Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
