Mary E. Tuesburg, age 89, a resident of Harmony of Manitowoc West, entered eternal life on Sunday evening, December 7, 2014 at Harmony of Manitowoc West.

Mary was born on August 5, 1925 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Anne Engeldinger Harlow. Mary was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1943. She took a position as a registered nurse at Holy Family Hospital after graduating from a three year program at Holy Family School of Nursing. Mary was also a member of the United States Army Nurse Corps. She was married to Arthur Tuesburg at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in January 1, 2002. Mary was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She enjoyed flowers, walking, being at the beach and spending time outdoors. Mary loved to cook and spend time with her family which was a priority. Humor and laughter were a big part of her life that Mary will be remembered for by her family and friends.

She is survived by seven children: Kathy (Tom) Becker, St. Cloud, MN; Craig Tuesburg, Manitowoc, WI; Gary (Pili) Tuesburg, Milton, Florida; Patty Tuesburg-Siehr, Greenville, WI; Margie (Jan) Paulus, Manitowoc, WI; Mary (Al) Martyn, Irmo, SC; John (Beth) Tuesburg, Two Rivers, WI; eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three sisters: Grace (Don) Markwardt, Manitowoc, WI; Rita (Fritz) Greenwaldt, Illinois; Inez McDermott, Manitowoc, WI; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond and Anne Harlow; husband: Arthur; three sisters, one brother, one grandson, and one niece.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc, WI, The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier. Entombment will take place at Calvary Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at which time a prayer service will be held by Deacon Al Boeldt to conclude the visitation. The visitation will continue on Monday, December 15, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Following the funeral services a luncheon will be held for relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
