She retired from Walmart in Marysville after 18 years of employment. She became a member of the Retired Ladies of Walmart group and she looked forward to their monthly lunches. A loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, she especially enjoyed spending her free time with her grandchildren.
Pamela was born February 14, 1955 in Portsmouth to the late Willard and Helen Jordan Dockery. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dustin Allen; a sister, Debbie Murphy; a brother David Dockery; and a niece Carolyn Dockery.
She married Frank R. Allen September 29, 1973 in Hanging Rock, Ohio. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Frank; their daughter Christi (Rob) Barnes; grandchildren Riley, Dylan and Delaney; sister Linda (Rick) Hixson; brothers Gary (Marion) Dockery and Randy (Betty) Dockery; many nieces, nephews and her special friend, Judy Harrington.
A private family graveside service will be held.
In Pamela’s memory, contributions may be made to the Union County Cancer Society in care of Ingram Funeral Home, who is handling her arrangements.
