James "Jim" Janssen, 84, Green Bay, passed away June 15, 2016.

He was born on July 11, 1931, in Ohio to the late Joseph Sr. and Abigail Janssen. He married Fay LeCoque on October 8, 1994. They lived in Green Bay, WI where they enjoyed life together. Jim retired in 2000 when he was 79 years old. For 20 years Jim worked for American State Equipment, several of which he was the Branch Manager. He also worked for Broadway Automotive and in various part-time jobs for 9 years. Jim was an active member in the Knights of Columbus and a Pro-life advocate. His hobbies included: boating, hunting and shooting sport clays with his sons and grandsons. Jim loved his family and enjoyed making people laugh. He loved time with his wife, reading the Bible and praying the rosary.

Jim is survived by his four children, Allan (Ginny) Janssen of Appleton, Linda (Kent) Neville of Folsom, CA, Susan (Michael) Gburek of Kaukauna, WI, Robert (Luanne) Janssen of De Pere; ten grandchildren, Amy Janssen, Rebecca (Aaron) Dobbe, Heather Stumpf, Daniel (Linda) Neville, Michael (Tammy) Neville, Michele (Scott) Hackel, Abbie (Mathew) Weber, Kendra Gburek (Alex Hollihan), Kayla (Tony) Kramarczyk, and Kyle Janssen (Alex Strutz); seventeen great grandchildren, Abella and Brielle Dobbe, and Taylor, Lydia, Audrina, and Delani Stumpf, Katelyn, Ashley, Hary, Colby, and Jordan Neville, Haley and Dylan Hackel, and Liliana and Jillian Weber, Aidan and Aubree Kramarczyk; four stepchildren, Marjean (Mark) Westphal, Shawn (Deborah) Cotey, Renee (Jerry) Guinan, and Michelle (Chester) Czerwonka; eight step grandchildren, Marshal (Jenny) Westphal, Cody (Chelsea) and Dustin Westphal, Brian (Eileen) Viggiano and Branda (Michael) Reed, Nathan (Anna) Castner and Ben (Sara) Castner, and Chelsey Czerwonka; great step grandchild, Noa Mary and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Janssen; brothers and sister, Joan Akard, Joseph Janssen Jr., and Jack Janssen.

Visitation at Saints Peter and Paul 710 N Baird St., Saturday June 18, from 9 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM with Rev. Anthony Cirignani OFM. Officiating.
