(1896 - 1985)

Mrs. Margaret W. Richards, a Manitowoc resident , now a resident of Shady Lane, died Tuesday afternoon, August 6, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Alfred A. Schneider with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum.

Mrs. Richards was born in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Feller Dueveneck. She moved to Milwaukee as a young girl and married Charles H. Richards on September 15, 1945. After their marriage the couple moved to San Diego California, where he preceded her in death April 3, 1953. Mrs. Richards then moved back to Manitowoc in 1958, residing here since. Mrs. Richards was a member of Manitowoc Women's Club, Catholic Women's Club and St. Ann's Society of St. Boniface Parish.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Don (Betty) McNeil of California; two sons, A.C. Richards and H.R. Richards, both of California; a brother, Ulrich Dueveneck of Town of Newton; six grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survived. She was preceded in death by three brothers and our sisters.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 9 a.m. Thursday morning. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation at the funeral home.
