Services for Ernest Liston, 56, of 607 6th Ave., who died at his home Thursday, will be at St. Paul's Baptist Church. The Rev. Noble B. Russey will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Born in Mississippi Oct. 5, 1899, Mr. Liston was a son of Toby and Cora Nuns Liston. He had been a laundry worker.
Surviving are five children, Mrs. Maggie Jackson and Mrs. Cora Belle Smith, both of Peoria, and Mrs. Marie Jackson, Mrs. Katie McCreain and Katie Lee Liston, all of Drew, Miss., and six brothers and sisters, Roy Liston of St. Louis, Mo., William Liston of Mount Bayou, Miss., Creola Doris of Detroit, Mich., Ada Liston and Willie Liston, both of Wynne, Ark., and Heala Liston of Tennessee. His wife preceded him in death.
