Born on October 17, 1945 at home in Canadensis, he was a son of the late Claude and Martha "Ann" (Asquith) Seese and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967.
Charlie worked as a contractor for various local companies and owned and operated The Butcher Block in Cresco for a short time.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman; and enjoyed sports, especially the Steelers and Pirates.
Surviving are a sister, Kathy Scherer of Harrisburg, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by two wives, Marjorie (Adams) Seese and Barbara E. (Brands) Seese; and four siblings, Joyce VanBuskirk, Louise Granahan, Richard Seese and Edwin Seese.
The viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00PM on Wednesday, November 1, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Funeral services will begin at 10:00AM on Thursday, November 2, at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at McComas Chapel Cemetery in Price Township.
