Funeral services for Carrie Lene Barnett, 85, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at Gilt Edge Baptist Church, 1713 Green St., Jeffersonville. She died Monday, Dec. 27, 2010. Survivors include her daughters, Autra Baker and her husband, Delbert, Sr., and Mary Mitchell, and Teresa Barnett, all of Jeffersonville; and her sons, Kenneth Barnett, of New Albany, and Floyd Barnett, of Jeffersonville; sister, Mary Clyde Tutt; and brothers, William B. Proctor, Sr., of Jeffersonville, and George and Sterling Proctor, both of Bowling Green, Ky.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Maurice Barnett, Sr., who passed away in 1971; her sons, William Karrus "Casey" Barnett, who passed away in 1978, and Wendell Maurice Barnett, Jr., who passed away in 2002; her brother, Frank Proctor, who passed away in 1958; and her sister, Aris Arnella Bibbs, who passed away in 1960. Visitation will be at the church from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
