Boston Washington "Bossie" Williams, 87, of Front Royal, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at his home.
Mr. Williams was born May 4, 1913, in Rappahannock County, the son of Noah Samuel and Sarah Williams. He was a retired pipe fitter and a member of Chester Gap Baptist Church.
His wife, Violet Williams, is deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Dolly of Front Royal; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Four sons, Cecil D. Williams, Isreal Williams, Earl Williams, and William Eugene Williams, are deceased.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, with the Rev. Jimmy Burke officiating. Burial will be in Willis Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Ordile, Jason Kibler, Geoff Van Anden, Tommy Pangle, Jose Williams, and Troy Smeltzer.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
