STOCKBRIDGE Mrs. Janet McKnight Bartlett December 24, 1936 - October 16, 2015 Mrs. Doris Janet McKnight Bartlett, age 78 of Stockbridge, GA passed away October 16, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Bartlett was born December 24, 1936 in Columbia, South Carolina. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward B. McKnight and Willa Lucille Kennedy McKnight; brother, Robert A. (Bobby) McKnight. Mrs. Bartlett was a homemaker, an avid Atlanta Braves fan, enjoyed sewing and excelled at being a grandmother for William. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Charles F. Bartlett of Stockbridge; son and daughter-in-law, Chick and Nancy Bartlett of Sugar Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Bartlett Shiflett and Lee of McDonough; grandson, William Shiflett; special adopted son, Dennis Connolly; brother, Edward Harold McKnight; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Bartlett will be on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00am in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Stockbridge, Georgia.
