Thomas William Dowdle Sr., 53, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017.
Tommy enjoyed playing pull-tabs and scratch-offs and was a member of the Floyd County Coon Hunters Club.
He was born on July 26, 1964 in New Albany, Indiana, to the late George Gilbert & Lena (Day) Dowdle.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Hinez & Barbara Lynch; and brothers, Raymond & George Dowdle.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 29 years, Loretta (Davis) Dowdle; children, Morgan Dowdle, Thomas Dowdle Jr and Haley Dowdle; and siblings, James Dowdle, Virginia Chumbley (Kevin), Rita Massey, Rick Dowdle and Carolyn Mikesell (Scotty).
Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions – Southern IN Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.
