Mrs. Margaret G. Eckstein died early last Friday morning at the home of her son, Louis Esslinger, on West Front Street. She was 82 years, 3 months and 16 days of age.
Mrs. Eckstein was born in Streichen, Germany, February 25, 1838, and came to America in 1870. She lived for a time at Hermann, and came to Washington to live about five years ago. Mrs. Eckstein was twice married, first to Mr. Esslinger and then to Mr. Eckstein. She leaves one son, Louis Esslinger; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted last Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran Church, then to the church cemetery.
