Donald was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 12, 1940 to the late Dutsel R. and Minnie Lee (Crowe) Kemp. He was a very talented country musician who played the Banjo, Guitar and Harmonica as well as many other instruments. Later in his life, Donald became a truck driver. He was a devout member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend and was always willing to give of himself to others. Donald will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Donald is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna (Emerson) Kemp of Evansville, IN; daughters, Pearl Kemp, and Alexus Kemp; sons, John "Johnny" Kemp, Sr., and Don Kemp, Jr.; sister, Japonia; brother, William B. "Billy"; grandchildren, Alicia, Kendall, Delilah, and Matt; and great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Gabriel, Sawyer, Gunner, Kipton, Eve, and Donald "Bubby".
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary "Midge", Edna "Sissie", and Wanda Lou; brothers, Alfred, Morgan, Troy, Roy, Jerry "Buddy", and J. Dutsel; and great-grandchildren, Levi, Baby John III and Logan.
