Mrs. Betty Jean Mason Griffith, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the age of 81.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Westside Independent Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Dorely officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Griffith is survived by her children, Randall Griffith, Mitchell Griffith (CathY), Rodney Griffith (Cindy), Wanda Waldrop and Anita Ingram; grandchildren, Brandy Griffith, Michael Griffith, Brooke Griffith (Paul Metz), Ashley Griffith, Randi Griffith, Jennifer Ward Jones (Travis), Michelle Griffith Foster (Devin); nine great-grandchildren and her siblings, Barbara Kelley, Ray Mason (June) and Sally Kirk,
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Henry Herbert Griffith; daughter, Lois Ann Ward and her sisters, Alma Moore and Marie Bass. Mrs. Betty was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her home was always open for all who came to visit. Her kitchen was like grand central station most of the time. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Westside Independent Baptist Church.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Westside Independent Baptist Church.
