Mrs. Ezell died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at her home.
She was born Aug. 16, 1912, in Limestone County to William Alexander McGlocklin and Minnie Rogers McGlocklin. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of Christ. Mrs. Ezell was known as "The Cookie Lady" for her famous teacakes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Bradford Ezell; a son, Danny Ezell; a grandson, Roger Ezell, and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Gayle Black of Athens; a son, Roger Mack Ezell of Fayetteville, Ga.; a brother, Burroughs McGlocklin of Decatur; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild
