Her life lives on him her son, Michael Cox of Tulsa, OK; granddaughter, Savannah Breeze Cox of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Kathleen Logan and husband Charlie of Sand Springs, OK, Patty Watson of Stilwell, OK , Irene Hill and husband Ted of Bixby, OK and Wanda Brady and spouse Brettni of Broken Arrow, OK; brother, Terry Lee Brady of Tulsa, OK; cousin, David Glenn and wife Rena of Stillwell, OK; numerous nieces and nephews who absolutely adored her and so many wonderful, loyal friends that there are too many to count.
Our grandma said the night that Breeze was born, there was the worst thunderstorm she had ever seen. In a flash of lightening and with a clap of thunder, out came Breeze and she lived her life in the same manner.
Breeze was married to he one true love, Larry Cox, for twenty years until his untimely death on July 29, 2014. She fought and beat many battles with cancer, but this one she just couldn’t win. Breeze lived a wonderful life with no complaints. She was the glue who held our wonderful family together and we all loved her dearly. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She was always the first up, awakening everyone else in the house. She was a wonderful cook, always made sure everyone had something to eat and never turned anyone away.
She was in newspapers and magazines on her many travels across the United States and beyond. People from all over were instantly attracted to Breeze. Her life’s dream was to travel to Ireland and it was fulfilled, not once, but three times. However, the place Breeze loved the most was the little brown house sitting up on the hill in Stilwell. There was not a foot of this land she hadn’t walked. From the hollow searching for wild onions and mushrooms to sitting on the front porch and watching the world go by.
The other loves of Breeze’s life were her son, Michael and granddaughter, Savannah Breeze. She was so very proud of them and they were indeed her whole heart.
This is supposed to be a sad day, but Breeze wouldn’t want tears. Just think of her and have good laugh about something she said or did. That’s what she would want. “Sla’n Leat,” or Goodbye to you. .
