She was born June 26, 1925 in Wickhaven, a daughter of the late Steve Ceto, Sr. and Julia Sylvia Ceto.
She was a member of the Seven Dolors Roman Catholic Church in Yukon. Helen enjoyed collectibles, including depression glass, and had a booth at the Rustique Antique Shop for many years with her daughter Julie. She welcomed family, friends and strangers into her home and there was always a pot of soup on the stove and food on the table. Helen will also be remembered for her love of gardening, pulling weeds, quilting and the many handmade Christmas ornaments and furry blankets she made and gifted to loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Julia Kon; two brothers, Steve Ceto, Jr. and Joseph Ceto; and four sisters, Grace Ceto, Anna Ceto, Irene Povlish and Katie Davis.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel J. Blasko; three sons, Daniel S. Blasko and his wife, Connie of McMinnville, Oregon, James P. Blasko and his wife, Tina of Bedford, PA, and David J. Blasko of Rostraver Township; two daughters, Cathy Stupar and her husband, Mark of Jeannette, Linda Ortmann and her husband, Richard of Columbia, Maryland; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Seven Dolors Roman Catholic Church in Yukon, with Father Jonathan Wisneski as celebrant.
Interment will follow in the Seven Dolors Catholic Cemetery, Yukon.
