Bill is also survived by his children and their spouses, Dr. Peggi Guenter and her husband Dr. John Sabol, Nancy and Gregory Cholish, Bruce and Susan Guenter, grandchildren, Michael and Stephen Sabol, Kevin and Megan Jacquel, Alexis Guenter and Billy Guenter, sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Donald Struble, sister-in-law, Helen Guenter and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his two sons, William Francis Guenter Jr, and Daniel David Guenter and his brother, John Guenter.
Bill was an electrical engineer and worked for years for the Jersey Central Power & Light Company. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and received the ranking of 4th Degree. He was a former Volunteer Fireman in New Jersey. After his retirement, Bill along with his wife Janet, restored the Old Reilly house in Springville, PA. He enjoyed wood working and making furniture. Bill was a loving husband and father.
A Funeral Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home with Father James Nash officiating. A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Holy Name of Mary Cemetery in Montrose, PA.
