Son of Philip Palmer Agnew (Postmaster of Dunwich) and Emily Cracknell.
Lived on Dunwich since he was about 6 months old. In August 1910 he was suspected of suffering from Leprosy. He was admitted to Peel island Lazaret on 25th May 1911 aged 16 years - Discharged 22 March 1920 only to be re-admitted on 18th June 1923 where he Died of Leprosy - Aged 42 years.
