STELLA ELLEN CLEMENS SCHMIDT , 96, of Memphis, public accountant, died Sunday at her daughter's home in West Memphis after a stroke. Services will be at noon Wednesday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with burial in Memorial Park. She was a member of Central Church and a former member of the Tennessee Association of Public Accountants. Mrs. Schmidt , the widow of Ernest M. Schmidt after 41 years, leaves four daughters, Mildred Davis of Red Banks, Miss., Alice Williams of West Memphis, Dorothy Ledbetter of Tiptonville, Tenn., and Dale Reed of Memphis, 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
