Paul F. Ettinger, 61, of Allentown, died Thursday in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Anne (Horn) Ettinger. They were married 39 years the previous May.

For the past 32 years, he had been owner and operator of the Paul F. Ettinger Plumbing and Heating Co., Allentown.

He was a 1953 graduate of Penn State University where he received a bachelor of science degree in agronomy.

A son of the late Paul C. and Rubie (Weber) Ettinger, he was baptized at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church in Allentown, Pennsylvania on September 13, 1931. He was later a member of Calvary Moravian Church, Allentown, where he was a former trustee.

He was past president of the Sister City Committee, Allentown, from 1973 to 1978 and began the city exchange with Saarbrucken, Germany.

Paul was survived by his wife and daughters, Sharon Beth and Janet.

Memorial services were held 11 a.m. Monday in the church, with calling hour 10:30-11 a.m. Monday in the church. Arrangements, Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown.
