Gerald W. Hibbard, 11-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland C. Hibbard, of Rt. 1, Valders, died late Saturday afternoon as the result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Schultz will officiate with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Gerald was born July 26, 1965, at Manitowoc, son of Mr and Mrs. Roland C. and Donna Sabin Hibbard. He was a seventh grade student at Valders Elementary School.
Survivors include his parents; four brothers, David, with the U.S. Army at Milwaukee, Michael, with the U.S. Army in Germany and James and Jeffrey, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Gregory (Sharon) Resch, of Manitowoc and Susan, at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome (Lillian) Hibbard, of Manitowoc and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Thelma (Sabin) Jenkins, of Dayton, Ohio.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
