Kim Evans, 44 of Newberg, OR died peacefully at home Nov. 15, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Kimberlie Ann Williams was born Oct. 22, 1973, in Caldwell, ID, daughter of Marvin Eugene Williams and Nancy Jean (Jenkins) Williams.
She graduated from Weiser (ID) High School with the class of 1992. She studied Child Psychology at Northwest Nazarene College, Nampa, ID.
Kim and Shae Evans were married June 15, 1999 in Boise, ID.
Kim worked at various jobs throughout her life, most recently for Mom365 Newborn Photography, photographing newborns in Portland area hospitals and as a field trainer. She had also worked at Sears, in customer service; Micron Technology as an operator; and Heirloom Roses as an office employee; but her proudest job was being mother to her two sons.
Kim loved and sought the fun in life. She enjoyed traveling and especially trips to the ocean, or to visit family in Idaho and Missouri.
She was a member of Meridian Friends Church. She served many years at Quaker Hill Conference Center in McCall, ID in different roles from general employee, Children's Ministry Coordinator, to Kid's Camp Director.
Survivors include her husband, Shae, of the home; son, Morgan Lee Evans of Newberg, OR; son, Lawson Ross Evans of the home; her parents, Marvin and Nancy Williams of Weiser, ID; her sister and husband, Stacy Lynn (Mrs. Brit Walker) of Coeur d'Alene, ID; her mother-in-law, Jean Evans of Independence, MO; one sister-in-law, Shauna Benson of Lebanon, MO; six nephews, two nieces, and numerous other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mildred (Nuckols) and Buster Jenkins; and Bessie (Embree) Fortin.
A Gathering of Friends and Family was November 16th at West Chehalem Friends Church, Newberg, OR. The funeral will be Nov. 22 at Meridian Friends Church, Meridian, ID with the Rev. Ken Redford officiating. Per her request Kim's ashes will be scattered at her parents farm, in the Pacific Ocean, and the Francis Cemetery in MO.
