Doris Elaine Slavick died peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2017, at her Memory Care home, Brookdale of Fort Myers.
Born in 1932 in Norristown, PA, Doris graduated from Bridgeport High School and went to work for Bell Telephone of PA, where she met Frank P. Slavick, her husband of 56 years.
Doris did not like the cold winters in PA, so they moved to Fort Myers, FL, to enjoy the sun and warm weather.
Doris liked to cook and bake Apple Crisp until her memory began failing her.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Lori Lynch (Dennis) and step-son, Frank P. Slavick, Jr. (Sharon), step-grandchildren Dennis Lynch, David Slavick (Julia), Jennifer Sullivan (Joseph), and Paul Slavick (Melissa), and step-great grandchildren Leila and Will.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Frank Sr., her sister Janet, and her brother Ken.
