He and Paula Wolf were married in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, July 13, 1964, and they made their home in Butte.
John worked as a clerk for the Anaconda Company for many years, working at the Pit, the Kelly, the Stewart and the Mountain Con mines. He also worked at the Montana Power Company until he moved to Niles, Mich., in 1999. He worked for Ameritech Communications in South Bend, Ind.
He enjoyed golf and had played American Legion baseball in Butte when he was younger. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in both Butte and Niles and was very devoted to his faith and religion. He was active in his parish in Butte as well as St. Mary's and St. Matthew's in Niles. He was also active in rosary devotionals with the elderly in Niles.
He is survived by his wife, four daughters, two sons-in-law, a son, five grandchildren, brother, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law [survivor's names omitted].
Mr. Quilici's remains are in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home, where friends may call beginning 4 p.m. Monday. The rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Prayers will be recited 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, proceeding to St. Ann's Catholic Church, where Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
