Jimmy was one of my fathers best friends. He was a strong presence in my life as I was growing up and into my adult years. I remember he bought chickens at one point and he built a chicken coop on my fathers land. I used to love to go and get the eggs to have fresh eggs for breakfast.
Jimmy was married to a wonderful, woman named Dorothy. Dorothy was very shy so we rarely saw her though later in life she got over that shyness and could be seen in town riding in the car with Jimmy.

To live in the hearts of others, is to live forever!
Ecclesiasticus 44:14 Their bodies are buried in peace; but their name liveth for evermore.

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me,
God wants me now, He's set me free.

The Fallen Limb
A limb has fallen
from the family tree
I keep hearing a voice that says,
"Grieve not for me"
Remember the best times,
the laughter, the song
The good life I lived
while I was strong
Continue my heritage,
I'm counting on you
Keep smiling and surely
the sun will shine through
My mind is at ease,
my soul at rest
Remembering all,
how I truly was blessed
Continue traditions,
no matter how small
Go on with your life,
don't worry about falls
I miss you dearly,
so keep up your chin
Until the days comes
we're together again

God called your name so softly
That only you could hear
And no one heard the footsteps
Of Angels drawing near
The Golden Gates stood open
God saw you needed rest
His garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best

To all who visit my loved ones and leave messages as well as little tokens. I appreciate each and every one of you coming here. I struggle to answer back because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and it's not always so easy to type. I do visit your pages and when I can, I leave something back. Thank you so much for your kindness!
