MARION - Carolyn Jackson Lambert, 76, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Little Bethel Baptist Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lambert was born in Dillon, a daughter of the late Willis and Irene Roberts Jackson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, W. M. Lambert; a brother, Jasper Willis “J. W.” Jackson; and a brother-in-law, Fred McIntyre.

Mrs. Lambert was retired from the Marion County Tax Collector’s office and was a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church. She loved to dance, and particularly enjoyed beach music.

Surviving are two sons, Tony Lambert (Jane) of Marion and Scott Lambert (Donna) of Darlington; a daughter, Pam Flowers (Tony) of Marion; a brother, Bobby Jackson (Linda) of Lexington; three sisters, Joyce McIntyre of Dillon, Debbie Jackson of Columbia and Elaine Jackson of Rockingham, NC; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
