God called home one of the most godly women in this world.

Irene "Pete" McNeely, 80, went home to be with our Lord on Monday, March 19, 2007, quietly in her sleep.

She was originally from Logan County, was retired from H.L. Green, Charleston, and resided in Charleston.

Surviving is her loving husband of more than 57 years, William "Ed" McNeely.

She was a member of Union Valley Gospel Tabernacle.

She is also survived by sisters, Iona Dent of Hewett and Emogene and Robert Jenkins of Charleston; and her brother, Ralph Baldwin of Sissonville; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, at Union Valley Gospel Tabernacle, Tuppers Creek, with Pastor Roy Moles officiating. Entombment will follow in the Floral Hills Gardens of Memories Mausoleum, Pocatalico.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

The family request that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Union Valley Gospel Tabernacle, Route 5 Box 387, Charleston, WV 25312, the church she loved so much
