Bennettsville Feb 17 Special Mrs. Bettie Anne Adams Townsend, 77, died about midnight at the home of her brother, Henry Adams, following a brief illness.
She was the daughter of Jesse B. and Elizabeth Miller Adams and the widow of J. B. Townsend.
She is survived by two son J. Frank and George M. Townsend, both of Bennettsville; two brothers Henry and J. J. Adams both of Bennettsville; three sisters Mrs. JT Lee of Clio, Mrs JA McGreer of Adele Iowa and Mrs. JW Tyner of Fernando Fla.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the residence of Henry Adams, with whom she had made her home, by the Rev. R. C. Griffith and the Rev EP Moye. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
