The 1900 Census shows James O. Arnold (age 18 born in Indiana in March, 1882) living in Union Township, Hendricks County, Indiana with parents Oscar and Relda and younger brother Henry. The 1910 Census shows James (age 28) as a laborer on the interurban railroad and living in Union Township with parents Oscar and Rilla. James married Alta May Sheckles. The 1920 Census shows James O. Arnold (age 37) as a farm laborer living in Union Township with wife Alta M. (age 25) and son Oscar A. (age 4). The 1930 Census shows James (age 48) and Oscar (age 14) living in Indianapolis. His Indiana death certificate shows him as divorced and buried at Lizton. Since K. of P. cemetery records do not show him buried there, this entry is made in the Montgomery Cemetery since it appears the William Arnold buried there is his brother. Any additional information would be welcome.
