Oscar Lee Casto
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in West Lawn Memorial Gardens, Topeka, for Oscar Lee Casto, 84, formerly of Topeka, who died Thursday at a Mesa, Ariz. hospital. He lived at Mesa since 1963.
He was born Jan. 7, 1898, at Larkinburg, the son of Jefferson and Nellie Patton Casto, and moved to Topeka in 1926.
Mr. Casto farmed southwest of Topeka for 40 years before he retired and moved to Mesa.
His wife of 59 years, Mrs. Grace J. Johnson Casto, survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joan Gatchell, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Henlon, Sonoma, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
The family will meet with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Tibbitts-Griffin Highland Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 822 W. 6th, Topeka, 66603.
