Evelyn (Bowmar) Sestini, 88, of Holliston, passed away April 4, 2014 at Wayland Nursing and Rehab Center. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Atty. Ralph B. and Angie (Hall) Bowmar. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late Raymond J. Sestini who died in November 2010.
Evelyn graduated from school in Groton and after living in Natick for several years, her family moved to Holliston in 1965.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Spurling and her husband Robert of Natick, and Judy Maisch of Taunton. She also leaves behind a sister, Mildred Hathaway of Clearwater, FL; Five grandchildren, Matthew and Michael of Taunton, Marielle of Portsmouth, NH, Elaine and her husband Ken of Marlboro, and Ken and Allie Spurling of Providence, RI. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by siblings, William D. Bowmar, Ruth Perkins, and Helen Cundall.
A graveside service at Lake Grove Cemetery will be held on Sunday, May 25th at 1:00p.m. Donations may be made to the Activity Fund at Wayland Nursing and Rehab Center (WNRC) c/o Activities Dept. 188 Commonwealth Rd, Wayland, MA. 01778. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home.
