Loving mother of five, she also supported her beloved husband, Kenneth Adams, in his ministry with the Methodist Church, where he served in Fresno as Pastor from 1953 to 1960.
Ethel is survived by her brother, Jack; children Jon, Tom and Beth (Bolduc); ten grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her second son, Lawrence; her oldest daughter, Meredith Smythe.
A Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Napa, on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at 11:00.
