Virginia GoyDixon -- Virginia M. Goy, 84, of 1222 N. Jefferson Ave., died Sat., Sept. 23, 1995 in her home following a brief illness.She was born July 17, 1911 in Robertson, Mo., to William and Elizabeth DeVerger Wellinghoff. She married Harold J. Goy on Oct. 26, 1935 in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1990. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. Survivors include two brothers, 4 sisters and several nieces and nephews including Donald Harmon, of South Gate, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Tues. beginning with 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Prayer Services in the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection in St. Anne Catholic church in Dixon with the Rev. Harlan Clapsaddle, pastor officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon.Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home with a Scripture Service 7 p.m.
