Alfred E. Belue

Alfred Emanuel Smith Belue 88, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Saturday July 8, 2017 at his residence after a long illness. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who was loved and adored by his family and friends. Alfred was born in Spartanburg, Spartanburg CO., South Carolina on February 21, 1929 to the late Hubert Earl and Ruth Garrison Belue.

Alfred Emanuel Belue was a U.S. Air Force Veteran in the Korean War. Alfred enjoyed fishing, woodworking and traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years. Elaine Belue, Brother H. Earl Belue, daughters Victoria Belue Schaefer, Catherine Belue Ray, Darla Belue Nugent and Rhonda Belue, son Matthew Jones Payton, 8 grandchildren; Cyle Johnson, John Wells III, Darby Fernandez, Emily Nugent, Kyndren Nugent, Dr. Nick Ray, Derek Ray and Kristina Kulick, and 6 great grand children; James Fernandez, Kendal Ray, Mattias Ray, Josephine Ray, Charlotte Ray and Ryder Kulick.

Alfred and Elaine have lived in Waxahachie for the past 16 years and are members of Farley Street Baptist Church. One of his most loved scriptures is; John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Alfred will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

There is a memorial service scheduled for Alfred on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business in Waxahachie, Texas.
