Judith “Judy” C. Geick, 58 of Chillicothe passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria surrounded by her family.
Judy was born November 16, 1959 in Spring Valley, the daughter of Marshall & Darlene Downey. She married Frederick Geick on October 4, 2004. He survives.
Also surviving is her father, Marshall Downey of Chillicothe; her 2 children, Bradley (Brittany Noonen) Michels and Krystal (Collin Duncan) Michels, both of Chillicothe; 2 grandchildren, Dylan Allen and Greyson Michels; 2 brothers, Timothy (Susan) Downey of Tuscan, AZ and Charlie (Anne) Downey of Magnolia; two sisters, Mary Beth (Steve) Wenz of Lacon and Susan (Ron Innis) Magnuson of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene; a brother, Bradley Downey; her father-in-law, Larry Geick; and brother-in-law, Michael Geick.
Judy retired from Illinois Podiatry Group in Peoria after 17 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Carroll Street Chapel, Henry. Burial of ashes will follow the service in Calvary Cemetery, Henry. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service 12 Noon Saturday at the memorial home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
