June Carolyn Neal, 85, of Springdale, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born June 23, 1932 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Sherman and Ruby Holton Bean. She later moved to Springdale where she met and married the love of her life, Warren Neal. Three children were born to this marriage.
Her daughter, Connie Long, preceded her in death, as did her husband. She is survived by her son, Paul Neal and wife Teresa; her daughter, Carolyn Teague; grandchildren, Brenda Hornsby (Aaron), Jason Teague (Jennifer), Amanda Sartin (Mark), Jenny Stewart (Ryan), Samantha Stillwell (Scott), and Hannah Neal; great-grandchildren, Tucker, Delaney, Preston, Emmy, Max, Bella, Kyler, Blakely, Kadyn, Keegan and Kiyah; two sisters, Kathryn Evans and Houstine Cooper; and several nieces and nephews.
June was a dedicated Christian and faithful prayer warrior. Her children rise up and call her blessed - Proverbs 31:27. She will be missed greatly.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 2, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will be at White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com.
