Neil A. Hickoff, 85, of 443Lake Meade Drive, East Berlin and formerly of Duncannon, died on Friday, December 1, 2017 at his home.

Born August 8, 1932 In Harrisburg, he was the youngest son of the late Harold O. and Viola (Ricker) Hickoff.

Neil was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. In addition, he was a 1951 graduate of Duncannon High School. "Coach Hickoff" was an outstanding football coach of championship teams. His coaching career included Lykens High School 1958-1965, Bermudian Springs High School 1965-1970, Central Dauphin East High School 1970-1975 and Carlisle High School 1975-1981. He was also a graduate of Gettysburg College where he played quarterback.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Dietz Hickoff. Two sons, Rick Hickoff and wife Susan of York and Roger N. Hickoff and wife Michelle of Dillsburg. A brother, Roger Hickoff and wife Sara Jane of Duncannon. Four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Graney, Kyle Hickoff, Adam Hickoff and Kolby Hickoff and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Harold R." Sonny" Hickoff and Gilbert Hickoff .

Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the Boyer Family Funeral Home, 230 N. High Street, Duncannon. Rev. Win Green will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Viewing hours are 6-9 PM Friday, December 8, 2017.
