Nyoka Renea Roy Stone 56 of Benton, Polk County Tennessee passed away Wednesday November 29,2017 at her residence. She was born in Rushville, Rush County Indiana to James Eddie Berlon Roy and Carolyn Sue Hall Roy. She lived in Benton, Polk County Tennessee for 24 years and she called it home. She loved and enjoyed sitting on her deck and watching the Ocoee River pass by, she loved her family and friends. She was a member of Benton United Methodist Church in Benton Tennessee,
She was preceded in death by her father James Roy, her paternal grandparents Eddie and Lola Roy, her maternal grandparents Daraus and Ethel Leighton, niece Misty Dawn Blackwell, nephews James Alan Blackwell and CB Reynolds.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years Robert Edward Stone Jr.; daughter Angela Michelle Ferrer and grandson Malako Ferrer of St. Louise Mo.; Lisa Shaw of Alvin Texas; Tonya Roy of FA; Donna Alexander and Yvonne Blackwell of Tx; brothers Tim Blackwell of Chattanooga TN; Kenneth and Jennifer Blackwell of Hixon TN; Michael and Rita Blackwell of The Plains Ohio; Darryl and Kay Blackwell of Ooltewah TN.; Kevin and Windy Keeton of Jackson TN.; John Keeton of Al.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December, 2 2017 in the Chapel of Higgins Funeral Home in Benton TN with Rev. David Whaley of Benton United Methodist Church officiating. Interment was at Greenhill Cemetery, Etowah McMinn County Tn.
